RFIC Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform bench testing and debugging of RF SoC IP components including transmitters, receivers, PLLs, and power amplifiers.
• Identify and resolve chip-level or board-level de-sense and EMI issues.
• Develop scripts to automate measurement processes within a build environment.
• Characterize RF systems by measuring EVM, spectral mask, phase noise, and sensitivity.
• Design external matching networks to optimize Tx/Rx radio performance.
• Generate comprehensive RF design, verification, and test reports.
• Synchronize radio register settings between simulation and test environments.

What we're looking for

• BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• MS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience (preferred).
• Experience in RF test development, debugging, and reporting.
• Proficiency in scripting and debugging using Python, Perl, TCL, C++, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of RF test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Knowledge of RF, PLL, and general wireless systems measurements such as IP3, NF, ACPR, and phase noise.
• Experience in RF PCB board design, debugging, and development (preferred).
• Exposure to RFIC or SoC design and simulation/verification (preferred).
