As an RFIC Validation and Characterization Engineer, you will join the wireless RFIC team to perform test, debug, and measurement for RF SoC IP. You will manage the product lifecycle from pre-silicon emulation through mass production, focusing on the first bring-up of Wireless SoCs and final silicon validation. Your daily responsibilities include hands-on bench testing of transmitters, receivers, PLLs, power amplifiers, and ADCs/DACs, as well as designing radio calibrations and optimizing performance metrics like EVM, phase noise, and sensitivity. You will utilize Python, Perl, TCL, or C++ to automate measurements and control test equipment. The role requires expertise in RF fundamentals, wireless transceiver architectures, and digital communication systems while solving complex chip-level issues such as desense and EMI problems for integrated radio transceivers within complex wireless SoCs.
