RF Modeling Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Model, design, and simulate state-of-the-art RF for 4G/5G/6G modem wireless communication systems.
• Implement system models and perform detailed performance investigations to achieve performance sign-off.
• Develop RF models specifically for 5G/6G cellular and 5G NTN networks.
• Characterize RF impairments of the modem to develop analytical models and support specification definition.
• Develop RF mitigation algorithms to address various hardware and signal impairments.
• Develop AI/ML modem solutions and mitigation techniques for wireless communication.
• Create software tools and algorithms using Matlab, C/C++, or Python.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Understanding of signal processing and communication systems.
• Strong analytical skills including linear algebra, random processes, detection, and estimation.
• Experience with Matlab, C/C++, and Python for algorithm development.
• Familiarity with RF impairments such as phase noise, DC offset, IQ imbalance, and inter-modulation.
• Knowledge of RF/analog components like LNAs, filters, mixers, and ADC/DACs.
• Knowledge of cellular communication standards including 5GNR and 4G LTE.
• Experience with AI/ML applications in wireless communication using tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
