What you'll do
- Design and develop highly integrated RF and wireless systems for new hardware launches.
- Create schematics including RF components, high-speed digital systems, power supplies, and sensors.
- Supervise and review PCB, flex, and rigid-flex layout designs.
- Develop test plans and perform RF validation to generate technical reports.
- Debug complex hardware issues involving baseband and RF circuits.
- Design electrical and wireless prototypes for new product concepts.
- Author clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing integrated RF/electrical circuits, systems, and performing RF system analysis.
- Proficiency with RF simulation tools like CST Microwave Studio, Keysight ADS, or XFdtd.
- Experience with hardware board design including schematic capture and CAD layout using tools like Cadence Allegro or OrCAD Capture.
- Ability to use common RF and electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Knowledge of wireless standards (WiFi, BT/BLE, GNSS, 4G LTE, 5G) and high-speed digital interfaces (MIPI CSI/DSI, PCIe, etc.).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.
- Master’s or PhD in Wireless, Electromagnetics, Electrical engineering or related field (preferred).
- Ability to solder small discrete components such as 0402s, 0201s, and 01005s (preferred).
- Experience designing and/or scoping integrated RF and electrical components within a single module (preferred).
