Senior Resident Engineer

What you'll do

• Conduct information gathering workshops to understand customer network designs and technical requirements.
• Design sustainable networks based on customer organizational structures and support processes.
• Test new tools, features, and functionalities in a laboratory environment before live deployment.
• Validate patches and software fixes in pre-production and live networks.
• Lead technology workshops to discuss equipment issues and provide status updates on workarounds.
• Support the design and planning of Juniper MX, PTX, QFX, and EX series solutions.
• Define best practice policies for Juniper product applications used by the customer.
• Develop secondary skills across the broader Juniper product portfolio.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with JUNOS CLI across MX, QFX, and EX series.
• Must understand BGP and route reflect topologies.
• Ability to use and evaluate engineering design tools and software packages to design components and solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to conduct reviews of material specifications and hardware, software, and electrical component designs.
• Mastery in English and local language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
