Candidates must demonstrate a strong research track record at top conferences and journals and possess exceptional programming, communication, and collaboration skills to tackle complex simulation and real-world robotics challenges.

What you'll do

  • Develop algorithms and models for robotic manipulation and locomotion in industrial and household settings.
  • Integrate advanced methods into real-world robotic systems using collaborative robot arms, mobile manipulators, etc.
  • Contribute to multi-person research projects requiring diverse skills across robotics and machine learning stacks.
  • Engage with the academic community through high-impact publications, conferences, workshops, and code releases.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to transfer research into NVIDIA’s robotics products.

What we're looking for

  • PhD in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • Strong publication record in top robotics and AI conferences/journals.
  • Proficient in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/JAX), and robotics/simulation tools.
  • Exceptional programming skills with experience in C++, CUDA, and Warp.
  • Proven ability to work effectively on multi-disciplinary research teams.
