The Reporting & Product Analyst joins the Financial Services team to improve merchant financial health through integrated payment solutions and cashflow management tools. Working at the intersection of data engineering, product strategy, and business operations, you will translate complex usage data into automated reports, interactive dashboards, and actionable insights. You will monitor product health, track user behavior, evaluate feature launches, and establish self-serve reporting models. Key responsibilities include performing cohort analysis, tracking A/B test results, and ensuring data integrity across pipelines. The role requires advanced SQL skills, experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and proficiency in platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics 4. Preferred technical skills include Python, R, Jira, Confluence, and experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks to solve complex merchant-facing financial problems.
Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and self-serve reporting models in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Standardize and schedule recurring product performance reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
Audit and validate reporting pipelines to ensure data integrity and consistent metric definitions across systems.
Analyze user journeys, feature utilization, and funnel drop-offs using cohort analysis and segmentation.
Establish baseline metrics for new features and analyze A/B test results or pre/post-launch performance.
Conduct deep-dive investigations to identify root causes of metric fluctuations and uncover growth opportunities.
Translate business goals into measurable framework goals and define tracking requirements for development teams.
Train non-technical stakeholders on how to interpret dashboards and use self-serve analytics tools.
What we're looking for
4+ years of professional experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or reporting analyst roles within software, SaaS, or tech organizations.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying large relational databases using complex joins, CTEs, and window functions.
Hands-on experience building production-level dashboards in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Experience with event-based tracking platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred knowledge of Python or R, Agile methodologies, Jira/Confluence, and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
