R&D Engineer Hardware

What you'll do

• Design wireline high-speed analog mixed-signal circuitry for data center connectivity applications.
• Research and apply cutting-edge design and validation for high-speed Serial link applications.
• Develop novel circuit techniques to maximize speed and performance while minimizing power and area.
• Design, develop, and evaluate electronic parts and integrated circuitry for hardware systems.
• Analyze equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests to evaluate results.
• Characterize and debug analog designs to ensure manufacturability.
• Create circuit models to define package and PC board requirements.
• Develop comprehensive circuit test plans for testing and validation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering and 3+ years of related experience.
• Research and apply cutting-edge design and validation for analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for high-speed Serial link applications.
• Design, develop, and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for hardware systems.
• Characterize and debug analog designs for manufacturability and create circuit models for package and pc board requirements.
• Proficiency in analog circuit design, CMOS device characteristics, and common circuit topologies for circuits running at 1 GHz and above.
• Experience with signal processing in analog filters, ADCs, DACs, and feedback controlled loops.
• Proficiency with simulation tools, custom layout tools, and common lab equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
• Proactive, collaborative, and creative approach to innovation and consensus facilitation (preferred).
• Excellent time and task management and interpersonal skills (preferred).
