Radio Frequency Hardware Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, optimize, and validate RF and mixed-signal PCBAs with a focus on interference mitigation.
• Lead the development of RF, mixed-signal, and mechanical solutions for unmanned platforms.
• Perform EM simulations using tools like CST, HFSS, and ADS to drive design decisions.
• Characterize EMI by tracing root causes using EMC probes, shielding tests, and grounding checks.
• Conduct rigorous lab and OTA testing for LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, GPS, and UWB systems.
• Design wireless testbeds to support system validation and document system-level design verification.
• Provide technical mentorship to partner teams regarding EMI mitigation and cross-functional debug processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in RF engineering, applied electromagnetics, or wireless systems.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and testing RF hardware for consumer-grade mass-produced products.
• Strong RF fundamentals with expertise in front-end design, desense analysis, and system-level optimization.
• Experience working with high-speed digital interfaces such as MIPI CSI/DSI, PCIe, DDR, and SDIO/eMMC.
• Proficiency in using RF test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Hands-on expertise in desense mitigation techniques including shielding, grounding, and filtering using simulation and empirical data.
• Ability to perform EM simulations using CAD tools such as CST, HFSS, and ADS.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies including LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, GPS, and UWB.
