What you'll do

• Develop and explore quantum computing algorithms to solve insurance industry problems.
• Build classical-compute reference solutions to provide early business value.
• Curate specific problems relevant to the insurance space with potential for quantum advantage.
• Analyze algorithm performance through simulations on classical hardware and experiments on quantum hardware.
• Distill scaling properties of algorithm candidates to evaluate potential for quantum advantage.
• Research and implement key advances in relevant quantum computing areas.
• Apply, adapt, and derive algorithms to solve curated problems.

What we're looking for

• Contribute to the development and exploration of quantum computing algorithms.
• Develop classical-compute reference solutions to provide early business value.
• Analyze algorithm performance through simulations on classical hardware and experiments on diverse quantum hardware.
• Distill scaling properties of algorithm candidates and evaluate potential for quantum advantage.
• Curate problems relevant to the insurance space with potential for quantum advantage.
• Collaborate with external partners from industry and academia to review results.
• Demonstrate technical competency in Machine Learning (ML) and Quantum Computing.
• 7 or more years of experience (preferred).
