What you'll do

  • Interpret complex data to identify risk dynamics, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement fraud strategies including rules, cutoffs, policies, and operational flows.
  • Identify key risk indicators and metrics to improve fraud detection reporting.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on risk mitigation processes and infrastructure improvements.
  • Perform data mining and ensure data integrity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop tools for detecting new fraud patterns or spending behaviors.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and executives.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline.
  • 2 or more years of experience in fraud, risk, payments, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SAS, and SQL.
  • Ability to query large datasets and transform raw data into actionable management information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience delivering recommendations to senior management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Preferred experience with Machine Learning technologies and knowledge of LLMs.
