Quality Specialist

What you'll do

• Manage the MRB process by reviewing non-conformances and approving dispositions on the production floor.
• Perform root cause analysis and use tools like 8D and Lean Six Sigma to reduce defect rates.
• Lead the development of work instructions and standard operating procedures for the quality inspection team.
• Conduct in-process and outgoing quality inspections for the assembly process.
• Perform measurements using laboratory equipment such as CMM, Romer Arm, and Optical Vision Systems.
• Drive the implementation of automated inspection systems including Vision and Sensor-based technologies.
• Perform audit activities to ensure full compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
• Review rework and lead the salvage process for non-conforming materials.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum due to export control laws.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of software QA testing experience including writing test plans, use cases, and issue reports.
• 3+ years of experience in consumer electronics lab environments.
• Experience working on a consumer hardware or software product.
• Experience in a Linux or Unix environment.
• Knowledge of Jenkins build environments (preferred).
• Experience configuring, deploying, and testing software updates (preferred).
