QA Engineer, Automation & AI Expert

What you'll do

• Design and implement automated testing for mainframe and integrated applications including regression suites and batch workflows.
• Use approved AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, test-case generation, defect triage, and status reporting.
• Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, and business relevance while maintaining human accountability for quality decisions.
• Identify high-value automation opportunities and partner with technical teams to pilot and scale solutions.
• Coordinate concurrent projects and recurring releases including test planning, environment readiness, and risk management.
• Maintain traceability and provide reporting on test progress, defects, quality metrics, and release health.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience designing or coordinating automated test solutions, reusable frameworks, regression suites, and test-data management.
• 3+ years of experience in generative AI and AI-assisted quality engineering including prompting and output evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC practices, requirements analysis, test planning, and defect management.
• Ability to evaluate automation candidates based on business value, risk, complexity, and maintenance cost.
• Strong leadership, organization, risk analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience/certifications.
• Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
