QA Analyst

What you'll do

• Design and maintain comprehensive QA artifacts including test strategies, plans, matrices, and scenarios.
• Execute manual and automated tests covering functional, UI, API, integration, and regression requirements.
• Perform backend validation using SQL queries, API responses, and system logs to investigate issues.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance testing processes, generate test data, and improve documentation.
• Automate manual testing activities using Playwright and other modern automation practices.
• Document defects in Jira with detailed reproduction steps and conduct root cause analysis.
• Validate end-to-end business workflows across multiple systems and perform post-deployment smoke testing.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders and management.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing complex applications and integrations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to execute SQL queries to validate data and investigate issues at the database level.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, specifically using Playwright for functional tests.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for test case creation, data generation, and QA documentation.
• Experience with test management and issue tracking tools such as TestRail and Jira.
