As a Python Software Engineer III within Corporate Technology, you will join an agile team to design and deliver trusted, scalable technology products. You are responsible for executing software solutions, creating high-quality production code, and maintaining complex algorithms across various business functions. Your daily work involves producing architecture artifacts, analyzing large datasets for visualizations, and troubleshooting technical problems. You will utilize Python, Java, and React alongside database querying languages. The role requires experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud-native development using AWS services like EKS. You will also leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve delivery speed and code quality. This position focuses on solving technical problems through secure coding standards, CI/CD methodologies, and application resiliency within a large corporate environment.
Design and develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain complex algorithms.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all design constraints are met.
Execute technical troubleshooting and develop solutions for non-routine technical problems.
Analyze large data sets to create visualizations and reports for continuous system improvement.
Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate, refactor, and test complex software deliverables.
Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS services.
Apply CI/CD, application resiliency, and security standards throughout the software development life cycle.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in coding with Python, Java, and React.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
Exposure to cloud-native development and AWS services, particularly AWS EKS.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to create, validate, and refine outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs and outputs.
