Product Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Drive product development and production for aerospace programs through quality planning, inspection, and verification of parts and sub-assemblies.
• Resolve production ambiguities related to product maturity and manufacturing process stability.
• Manage the transition from new product introduction to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to establish processes for incoming material acceptance and supplier quality.
• Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities and Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
• Develop and improve Quality Management System documentation and internal training materials for manufacturing personnel.
• Oversee the qualification of internal and external manufacturing processes, including PPAP, FAI, and test protocols.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to work full-time on-site at the Morrisville, NC facility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field is required.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality for aerospace vehicles or systems is required.
• Working knowledge of design review and quality management of aerospace parts, assemblies, hardware, and raw materials.
• Working knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and application of industry standards.
• Proficiency with CAD systems such as NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Analytical skills for data mining, metrics generation, issue management, and statistical analysis tools.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. security clearance.
