What you'll do

Lead iPhone integration and architecture efforts with internal teams and contract partners.
Conceive, design, and bring next-generation mobile products into production.
Design plastic and metal parts including material selection for consumer electronics.
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) for high-volume manufacturing.
Perform statistical tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing.
Integrate electrical subsystems and wireless antennas into mechanical enclosures.
Create technical graphical communications to convey concepts, ideas, and solutions.
Design cosmetic enclosures with liquid and dust ingress protection.

What we're looking for

Experience in mechanical design, preferably in consumer electronics.
Demonstrated ability in plastic and metal part design including material selection.
Experience in DFM, DFA, statistical tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing for high volume manufacturing.
Experience with technical graphical communication of concepts, ideas, and solutions.
Handheld or portable device experience (preferred).
Experience with component modules and interconnects (preferred).
Integration of wireless antennas, electrical subsystems, or cosmetic enclosures with ingress protection (preferred).
Siemens NX fluency, experience with overseas manufacturers, Mandarin skills, and international travel (preferred).
