As a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, you will join the team to drive the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale Archer GRC solutions. You will be responsible for architecting complex cross-domain business processes, managing technical roadmaps, and creating extensible frameworks for reports, dashboards, and advanced workflows. Your daily work involves developing custom objects and UI components using JavaScript and jQuery while integrating Archer with systems like ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Qualys, and various databases via REST APIs and Data Feeds. You will utilize SQL, Python, and scripting to automate processes and perform complex technical analyses. The role focuses on solving critical risk management and regulatory compliance challenges by translating strategic objectives into scalable architectures while ensuring data consistency across the organization through advanced configurations of Archer modules and automated workflows.
Design and implement enterprise-scale Archer GRC solutions to support risk management and regulatory compliance.
Own the technical roadmap for Archer configuration, including custom objects, workflows, data models, and integrations.
Develop data integration patterns using Archer Data Feeds and REST API integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
Create extensible frameworks for reports, dashboards, and advanced workflows to ensure consistency across initiatives.
Build custom UI components and client-side enhancements using JavaScript and jQuery to extend platform capabilities.
Perform complex technical and functional analysis to translate strategic objectives into scalable solution architectures.
Automate processes and perform advanced customizations using SQL, Python, and other scripting languages.
Advise senior management on technical strategy and provide solutions for complex project issues.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
Experience developing modules and solutions in Archer GRC and integrating Archer modules with third-party applications.
Expertise configuring advanced workflows, data driven events, access controls, application notifications, and complex mail merges within the Archer platform.
Expertise integrating Archer with internal and external systems using APIs and JavaScript (JST) data feeds.
Experience performing advanced customizations and automation using SQL, JavaScript, and Python.
Proficiency in project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint for sprint planning and retrospectives.
