As a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, you will join the team to design and implement digital assets technology solutions within an electronic trading environment. You will utilize a modern DevOps stack featuring Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, Sonar, Datadog, and Prometheus to build distributed, high-throughput applications while ensuring quality through Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines.

What you'll do

Design and implement low-latency trading software solutions for digital assets in an Agile environment.
Develop high-performance algorithms for traditional and cryptocurrency trading.
Define and implement application-level architecture for complex projects, components, and subsystems.
Create comprehensive documentation and manage full project life cycle plans across multiple platforms.
Provide technical evaluations, risk assessments, and strategic advice to senior management.
Act as the primary liaison between business units to resolve technology issues.
Mentor junior team members and provide original technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Experience designing and implementing digital assets technology solutions using Agile methodologies in an electronic trading environment.
Expertise developing distributed, low-latency, high-throughput applications using CI/CD pipelines, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Agile methodologies.
Expertise developing, testing, monitoring, and supporting applications using Java, Python, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS within an electronic trading environment.
Expertise performing CI/CD applying DevOps principles using Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker, and Sonar.
Expertise developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining Cloud-based solutions using AWS, EC2, and EKS.
Experience debugging observability using Datadog and Prometheus.
