Principal Software Engineer-TS

What you'll do

• Spend 70% of time coding and writing non-feature code, including interfaces, tests, and architecture fitness functions.
• Lead a team of engineers by providing coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance on software craftsmanship.
• Architect and deliver new services and complex enterprise-wide initiatives spanning multiple programs.
• Drive the architectural design for dependent services, service interactions, and organizational policies.
• Implement Domain Driven Design to enforce contextual mappings and aggregates for bounded contexts.
• Manage technical debt and refactor code to improve performance, availability, and the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct technical interviews and write promotion recommendations to maintain high engineering standards.
• Participate in architecture review meetings to resolve enterprise-wide challenges and regulatory needs.

What we're looking for

• Expert in building highly resilient and scalable distributed systems with deep exposure to database, messaging, and caching technologies.
• Proven experience in Java, Springboot, Microservices, API, Distributed systems, event-driven architecture, SQL, and secure coding standards.
• Expert understanding of DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code and cloud-first software development (preferred).
• Experience implementing advanced production test setups such as A/B testing, canary releases, blue-green deployment, and feature flags.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), automation pipelines, virtualization, and containerization.
• Understanding of operating system internals (Windows, Linux, Mainframe) to write interoperable and performant code.
• Experience leading and coaching teams in software planning, estimation, and trade-off discussions for large-scale complex programs.
• Experience in agile and modern SDLC practices including Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, and Quality Engineering.
