Principal Software Engineer
As part of the Azure Edge team, the Principal Software Engineer will work on extending Azure cloud services to sovereign, disconnected, edge, enterprise, and hybrid scenarios. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 6+ years of engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other required security screenings.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of experience in C, C++, C#, or Java (preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 12+ years of engineering experience (preferred).
Advanced knowledge of SQL/NoSQL technologies and highly available database design (preferred).
7+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale, highly available cloud services and distributed systems (preferred).
5+ years of experience owning production services, including on-call support, observability, and root-cause analysis (preferred).
5+ years of experience delivering cloud-native services using containers, microservices, and orchestration like Kubernetes (preferred).
