Principal Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions.
• Build scalable web and middle-tier applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Implement API authentication, RBAC authorization, and SAML/OIDC security protocols.
• Deploy and manage cloud-enabled applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform regular code reviews to improve team velocity.
• Translate business logic into technical requirements for new feature designs.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems is preferred.
• At least 8 years of development experience is required.
• Expertise is required in building scalable web and middle-tier applications using Java, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience is required with API authentication, RBAC Authorization, SAML/OIDC, and web services like JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.
• Experience is required with cloud-enabled applications, Docker containerization, AWS deployment, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience is required with unit testing, test automation libraries, and delivering software in an Agile environment.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior engineers and performing code reviews is required.
• Experience with brokerage and financial services application development is a plus.
