What you'll do

Lead the architecture of complex product solutions ensuring performance, scalability, and disaster recovery requirements are met.
Develop and maintain high-scale distributed systems for experimentation platforms and AI infrastructure.
Champion AI tools and practices across the software development lifecycle with appropriate safety controls.
Establish coding best practices and metrics to drive code quality, stability, and engineering excellence.
Mentor senior engineers and lead technical design reviews to raise the engineering bar across teams.
Manage cross-team collaborations to align delivery schedules and ensure end-to-end testing before launch.
Serve as a designated responsible individual for live-site operations and incident retrospectives.
Drive security hardening efforts, threat modeling, and production reliability improvements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
6+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and other required security screenings.
Experience architecting and operating large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with experimentation platforms, A/B testing at scale, and statistical methodologies for measuring product impact.
Proven experience mentoring senior engineers and driving technical direction across teams.
Experience leading security hardening efforts, threat modeling, and incident response processes.
Experience championing AI-assisted development workflows and establishing responsible AI coding practices.
