What you'll do

Architect and develop scalable, distributed system components using state-management tools and data-plane platforms.
Optimize code and data paths for high-throughput, hyper-scale workloads while enforcing scalability requirements.
Build fault-tolerant systems featuring redundancy, replication, failover, and automated load-shedding mechanisms.
Implement complex validation tests including fault injection, brownouts, and telemetry to ensure system correctness.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation scripts for cloud management and seamless updates.
Resolve production issues through active monitoring, incident response, and root-cause investigations.
Enforce security controls, encryption, and compliance documentation across all managed components.
Mentor junior engineers and create technical documentation to guide project execution.

What we're looking for

Must have 8 years of software development experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years, or a Master's degree plus 2 years, or a Doctorate.
Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, C++, C#, or similar programming languages.
Demonstrated knowledge in distributed systems, prototyping, and algorithm engineering.
Experience building, testing, and debugging production-quality software with familiarity in REST APIs and databases.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
Strong skills in data structures, object-oriented design, and problem-solving.
Ability to develop infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation for cloud management.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
