As a Principal Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure, you will join the team to lead the development and architecture of scalable, elastic distributed systems. You will be responsible for designing fault-tolerant components that support high-throughput, hyper-scale workloads while ensuring in-service upgradability through redundancy, replication, and failover mechanisms. Your daily work involves optimizing data paths, managing large-scale retrieval and storage via data plane platforms, and implementing load-shedding, throttling, and rate-limiting to handle network unreliability.
