Principal Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Design scalable test strategies and coverage plans for complex systems based on risk assessment.
• Oversee the setup, maintenance, and scalability of test environments across multiple teams.
• Perform root cause analysis for customer issues and manage defect resolution through to verification.
• Develop and integrate reusable automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and optimize test infrastructure while advising on build versus buy decisions.
• Enforce software quality gates at key development stages to ensure release readiness.
• Lead testing of non-functional requirements including multi-user performance, scalability, and stress conditions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the talent development pipeline through interviews.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in the field.
• Proficiency in Python and Linux is required.
• Experience in quality engineering, including test strategy development and risk management, is required.
• Skills in test automation and integrating automated solutions into CI/CD pipelines are required.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and manage defect tracking and resolution is required.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and managing complex infrastructure is required.
• Experience with enterprise computing hardware is required.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking is required.
