The Principal Product Software Engineer joins the Product Engineering team to build and operate critical services supporting commerce workflows within Disney Streaming. Build and operate high-request services for web, mobile, and living room devices.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
10+ years of experience crafting large-scale, highly available Java and Scala services using various database and messaging technologies.
Strong programming skills in Java and other object-oriented languages with a grasp of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
Experience using source control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience directly managing and mentoring a team.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while championing cross-team projects.
Strong communication skills to share knowledge and collaborate with product management, operations, and other engineering teams.
