JOB TITLE: Principal Platform Software Engineer - Oracle Health Data & Analytics The Principal Platform Software Engineer - Oracle Health Data & Analytics joins the Oracle Health Data Services team to drive the data platform forward. What you'll do

Implement key components for a multi-tenant data platform including ingestion, transformation, indexing, storage, and serving layers.
Design and deliver features that increase data platform adoption for AI-first and agent-based architectures.
Resolve complex technical issues inherent in the design or implementation of platform technologies.
Ensure platform architectures meet standards for scale, reliability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency in healthcare environments.
Build software systems and end-to-end delivery to improve customer outcomes for providers and life sciences organizations.
Drive operational excellence and best practices for highly scalable and reliable cloud-hosted software services.

What we're looking for

7+ years of relevant experience.
BS or MS degree in CS or equivalent relevant experience.
Highly proficient in Java, Python, or similar languages.
Strong understanding of cloud concepts and cloud native services on OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of distributed storage systems including data warehouses and lakehouse/table formats.
Hands-on experience with streaming + CDC and large-scale batch processing (Spark, Flink, etc.).
US Citizen eligible to obtain & maintain a Federal Security Clearance (preferred).
Experience with multi-modal persistence, search, retrieval, and applied LLM/NLP (preferred).
