What you'll do

  • Locate, fix, and verify bugs within the FortiSwitchOS web-based GUI code.
  • Develop and implement new features for the web-based user interface.
  • Write and maintain i18n- and a11y-compliant HTML, JS, and CSS using TypeScript and SCSS.
  • Investigate and resolve complex bugs originating in other parts of the C-based codebase.
  • Compose functional specifications for new features and coordinate with QA and product teams.
  • Propose and implement structural changes to improve the maintainability of the GUI codebase.
  • Assess and optimize the performance of both frontend and backend middleware components.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in front-end web development.
  • Fluency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript (ES6).
  • Familiarity or fluency with Typescript and SCSS.
  • Proficiency in AJAX and Promise methodologies.
  • Experience with front-end component-based frameworks such as Vue or React.
  • Education in algorithmic complexity.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related area.
