What you'll do

Develop and maintain software components for current and future Fortinet products.
Develop networking features for the FortiSwitch Virtual Machine product line.
Implement Marvell CPSS SDK work for both virtual and hardware environments.
Perform hands-on bug fixing for existing product lines.
Deliver high-quality software features according to established schedules.
Coordinate with the hardware team to develop features for hardware platforms.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 12 years of experience in networking-related software development.
Strong C/C++ experience in a Unix/Linux environment.
Strong knowledge of Linux kernel programming, including system calls and custom device drivers.
Experience in Marvell switching ASICs and SDK in an Ethernet switch/router.
Experience developing applications in a virtualization environment (KVM & VMware).
Experience implementing L2/L3 features such as STP, RSTP, RIP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LACP, LLDP, QOS, Private VLAN, and LAG.
B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; M.S. (preferred).
Knowledge of Shell and Python scripting languages (plus); experience with firewalls and embedded systems (plus).
