Principal Front End Engineer

What you'll do

• Define and advance enterprise front-end engineering strategy, architecture, and standards across multiple teams.
• Establish technical guardrails for quality, accessibility, maintainability, testing, and scalability.
• Own the technical product design and architecture for critical front-end platforms and strategic initiatives.
• Build production-grade web SDKs for secure browser-based flows and partner integrations.
• Drive adoption of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and modernization opportunities.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud alignment, CI/CD, automated testing, and sustainable engineering.
• Mentor engineers and technical leaders while serving as a model for engineering excellence.
• Represent the organization in high-impact technical discussions with senior stakeholders and executive leadership.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must possess eligibility to work in the United States at the date of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 15 or more years of progressive experience designing and developing complex software or web-based systems.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting production-grade web SDKs including JavaScript/TypeScript API design and browser compatibility.
• Deep expertise in front-end architecture, web platform engineering, application design, and enterprise-scale delivery.
• Advanced knowledge of SDLC best practices, software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
• Experience leading major modernization efforts involving cloud migration or large-scale architecture redesign (preferred).
• Expertise in design systems, performance engineering, front-end observability, and enterprise web governance (preferred).
