Lead Front End Engineer As a Lead Front End Engineer, you will join a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to drive a major transformation within the organization. You will perform software development on front end applications using a test-driven development pattern while owning the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Your daily work involves collaborating with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that provide powerful experiences for financial empowerment. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in JavaScript, Angular, React, Node, TypeScript, Java, HTML/CSS, and RESTful web services. You will also utilize open source frameworks and manage cross-browser and cross-device development while mentoring other members of the engineering community to solve complex business problems through innovative technology.

What you'll do

Develop front-end applications using test-driven development patterns.
Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
Build robust cloud-based solutions to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Implement features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Node, and Java.
Develop for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging technologies.
Integrate RESTful web services into front-end architectures.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
2+ years of experience in Agile practices (preferred).
