What you'll do

Perform 3D CAD design, layouts, calculations, manufacturing drawings, and tolerance studies for lower completion products.
Conduct component and system analysis to identify stress levels, technical risks, and design solutions.
Design qualification testing fixtures and compose detailed test procedures for product validation.
Assemble and perform laboratory testing on prototypes to ensure product integrity.
Draft technical manual documentation for new products following supervisor review and approval.
Provide technical assistance to global field operations and plant personnel regarding existing and new products.
Manage the full product lifecycle from initial concept development through final validation.
Create project plans including detailed development time and cost estimates.

What we're looking for

Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
Have 10+ years of experience in design engineering or sustaining engineering.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Have experience with SolidWorks.
Be able to work "hands on" in a test lab facility and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
Multiple years’ experience in the design of lower completions tools such as ICDs, Screens, Barrier Valves, or Sand Control Tools (preferred).
Understanding of basic oilfield practices, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (preferred).
Experience with stress calculations, tolerance studies, Teamcenter PLM software, FEA, and relevant API standards (preferred).
