What you'll do

Mine complex and voluminous data from diverse sources using open source and digital technologies.
Build well-managed data solutions and tools to enable self-service frameworks for internal consumers.
Translate business needs into technical requirements to design and develop dashboards and visualization tools.
Conduct deep-dive analyses that provide actionable insights regarding core business strategies.
Manage data quality standards including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
Coordinate with technology teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance.
Develop and execute automated tools to monitor and report on data quality metrics.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience in data analytics.
At least 3 years of experience working with at least one scripting language.
At least 3 years of experience utilizing a business intelligence visualization tool.
At least 3 years of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.
Master's degree in a STEM discipline (preferred).
At least 4 years of experience coding in Python, R, Spark, or SQL (preferred).
At least 4 years of experience working within process management and improvement methodologies like Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma (preferred).
Experience with AWS services, Data Governance, and Data Quality Management in financial services (preferred).
