As a Principal, AI/ML Engineer, you will join the platform team responsible for the creation and support of the Cognitive Computing Platform. This role focuses on the Knowledge Enablement area, where you will architect and lead teams to implement solutions that enable natural language interactions across various channels. You will work with data scientists to experiment with NLP data analysis methods, build and implement models, and integrate machine learning services with runtime conversation handling systems. Key responsibilities include managing the software delivery cycle and promoting a developer culture of quality through automation. Required technical expertise includes NodeJS, Python, REST APIs, and cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will solve business problems by synthesizing needs into scalable, differentiated solutions within a polyglot development environment.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

  • Advanced education in a computer science or data science related field or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience working in the financial services industry focused on IT solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in software development, delivery cycles, and architecting large-scale systems.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS or Python and experience building REST APIs.
  • Experience with cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience building and evaluating Natural Language Processing machine learning models.
  • Experience integrating machine learning model services with existing runtime conversation handling systems.
  • Previous knowledge and experience in MLOps related areas (preferred).
