The Principal AI Strategy Architect joins the IT organization to lead AI Strategy and Emerging Systems efforts. You will utilize PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, vector databases, and cloud ecosystems like Azure, AWS, or GCP. The work focuses on solving complex problems in manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D by balancing high-impact use cases with data security, IP protection, and NIST AI RMF compliance.

What you'll do

  • Research and assess emerging AI capabilities including generative LLMs, agentic systems, and multimodal AI.
  • Define and evolve enterprise AI architecture patterns for cloud/hybrid environments and MLOps.
  • Design system integrations for LLMs, RAG, and agents with Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms.
  • Build and prototype AI proof-of-concepts to validate feasibility, performance, and cost.
  • Identify high-impact use cases across manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D while quantifying business value.
  • Develop standards and guardrails for model selection, data security, and responsible AI practices.
  • Translate complex AI developments into concise technical briefings for executives and partners.
  • Provide deep technical mentorship to engineering teams on AI capabilities and limitations.

What we're looking for

  • Proven success delivering impact in generative AI/AI models and architecture roles within enterprise environments.
  • Experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale generative AI and AI model platforms.
  • 8+ years of experience across cloud ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP), data engineering, and full MLOps lifecycle automation.
  • Strong command of modern generative AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, vector databases) and AI governance, security, and privacy.
  • Outstanding communication skills for executive-level storytelling and multi-functional influence.
  • Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries (preferred).
  • Hands-on coding and prototyping ability in Python or similar with frontend technology familiarity (preferred).
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
