Principal Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, debug, and test desktop applications and utilities using C++, Qt, and QML.
• Create design documentation and conduct design reviews to meet regulatory and business requirements.
• Determine software system design requirements and generate project documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Participate in all product development stages including requirements gathering, system design, coding, and deployment.
• Build high-quality, maintainable software following established industry design and architectural patterns.
• Manage application development and medical software support using Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
• Provide engineering support for software systems and utilities to all business departments.
• Mentor colleagues and coordinate work assignments with other team members to achieve project goals.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Baccalaureate degree with 7 years of relevant experience, a Master's with 5 years, or a PhD with 3 years.
• Must have experience developing desktop applications in C++, Qt, and QML.
• Must be able to design, develop, debug, and test desktop applications and utilities.
• Must be able to generate documentation and follow design processes to support regulatory and business needs.
• Must be able to use Agile methodologies to manage application development and software medical application support.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate work with others.
• Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industry (preferred).
• Work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
