What you'll do

Design and implement advanced data workflows and scalable analytics solutions for Navy records management.
Develop automated pipelines using Python, PowerShell, and SQL to modernize enterprise data processes.
Refactor legacy scripts and codebases to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
Build and validate automation scripts and applications using testing frameworks like Pester or PyTest.
Process massive datasets to build predictive and descriptive analytics for data-driven decision-making.
Integrate disparate data sources and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for mission-critical workflows.
Design and implement data-driven dashboards and automated data quality checks.
Ensure all automation and coding practices align with security standards and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience with data science, advanced analytics, or large-scale data engineering within mission environments such as the DoD.
10+ years of experience developing automation and analytics solutions using scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Experience processing large data sets, optimizing ETL or ELT pipelines, and applying statistical or machine learning methods.
Experience building and validating automation or analytics scripts with testing frameworks such as Pester or PyTest.
Experience implementing secure coding practices, role-based access, and compliance-aligned automation.
Experience supporting Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to modernize legacy scripts or codebases for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Experience with Navy enterprise systems or records management modernization initiatives (preferred).
Experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and automated test frameworks (preferred).
Experience with Python, R, ML, or AI analytics workflows supporting data-driven decision-making (preferred).
Top Secret clearance (preferred).
Master’s degree (preferred).
MSFT Power Platform Certifications (preferred).
