Senior Server Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Drive technical innovation by developing tools, scripts, and improving procedural methodologies for validation.
• Perform post-silicon validation activities to support EPYC and AMD Instinct products.
• Triage and debug issues identified during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SoC programs.
• Lead complex debug efforts for silicon findings to identify root causes and resolutions.
• Develop test plans and execute them to ensure all features are validated and optimized on time.
• Engage in software and hardware modeling frameworks to improve system capabilities.
• Create balanced, scalable, and automated solutions for hardware and firmware systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Several years of experience in Post-Silicon Validation roles involving debugging OS, FW, Silicon, SoC, and Platform HW issues.
• Extensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python.
• Extensive experience with common lab equipment including protocol analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Experience using automation frameworks for execution is preferred.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
