Power DVT Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop comprehensive Design Verification Plans (DVPs) for power electronics systems.
• Apply Design for Testability (DFT) principles to ensure test point accessibility and built-in self-test capabilities.
• Develop and maintain test methodologies, fixtures, and automated test scripts.
• Use software simulation tools to model circuits, analyze performance, and identify failure modes.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures and develop cost-effective solutions to address root causes.
• Perform data analysis on test results and maintain requirements traceability throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Lead small groups of DVT engineers and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, test labs, and technicians to manage testing resources and schedules.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Background in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems.
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience building test automation frameworks and tools (preferred).
