What you'll do

Define and evolve the technical architecture for the Butterfly CXM platform to support customer service experiences.
Establish engineering strategies for shared service integration, full-stack requirements, and gateway services.
Build foundational frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and developer platforms to support broad platform adoption.
Lead the development of reusable agent frameworks, skills definitions, and agent integration strategies.
Establish enterprise standards for AI capabilities including MCP, A2A, and A2UI interoperability.
Create a shared catalog of AI services, tools, and agents for use across the Workbench ecosystem.
Partner with AI Core teams to implement governed execution, security controls, and platform observability.
Define engineering quality metrics to measure platform reuse, reliability, and AI solution effectiveness.

What we're looking for

7+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale digital products, platforms, and distributed systems.
4+ years as a lead architect, principal engineer, or engineering lead for platform architecture and technical strategy.
2+ years developing and using AI agents and orchestration platforms.
Experience leading large-scale platform modernization initiatives and establishing enterprise engineering standards.
Proven track record building reusable platforms, frameworks, SDKs, and developer ecosystems rather than standalone applications.
Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Co-Pilot, and Co-Pilot Studio.
Experience designing AI ecosystems including LLM integrations, RAG, agent orchestration, and AI governance.
Hands-on expertise with Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Deep working knowledge of the XENA platform engineering principles and standards.
Experience in medtech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries (preferred).
Experience building enterprise agent platforms, Internal Developer Platforms, or reusable SDKs (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and lead through organizational transformation (preferred).
