What you'll do

  • Diagnose equipment and system issues to support plant startup, shutdown, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve equipment failures and improve reliability.
  • Analyze turbine and auxiliary system data to identify performance gaps in heat rate and efficiency.
  • Execute condition monitoring programs including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
  • Maintain configuration control for technical drawings, procedures, and Management of Change documentation.
  • Coordinate capital projects and modifications while managing relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as NERC and pressure system codes.

What we're looking for

  • Candidate must reside within one hour drive time of the Turk Powerplant in Fulton, AR.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or military equivalent.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program is acceptable for entry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering technology is an acceptable alternative to the standard engineering degree.
  • Must have two or more years of related engineering experience.
  • Preferred Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability programs like vibration analysis and thermography.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting for documentation and project management.
