The PHY Systems Engineer – Mobility Control joins the Systems Engineering team to develop mobility control features for 5G and 6G wireless communication systems. This role involves scoping mobility control procedures, identifying performance trade-offs, and designing innovative control procedures while analyzing cross-feature impacts between physical and upper layers. The engineer will design algorithms considering end-user experience and scalability, while supporting hardware and software teams through the definition of test procedures and debug methodologies from design to commercialization. Required expertise includes a deep understanding of 5G-NR standards, specifically RRC and PHY, along with wireless communication systems knowledge.
