What you'll do

  • Design and develop large-scale solutions with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Manage automation roadmap and lead technical direction for People Team solutions.
  • Integrate AI solutions into systems by working closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Build middleware solutions for chatbot integration across various platforms like Slack, Workday, Jira, Confluence.
  • Automate key processes within the People Team to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, webhooks, and middleware integrations across multiple systems.
  • Proficiency in database design and data modeling.
  • Expertise in event-driven architectures including message queues, pub/sub systems, and asynchronous processing patterns.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deploying services to cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently without existing infrastructure or support, initiating and driving projects to completion.
  • Familiarity with Workday integrations and automations, as well as additional tools like Jira and Confluence.
