What you'll do

Develop end-to-end software solutions from initial vision to production-ready systems.
Oversee and mentor a team while they learn new tools and techniques.
Identify and implement necessary system improvements for clients.
Design applications that account for current architecture, operating environments, and future enhancements.
Collaborate with system and hardware engineers to derive and develop software requirements.
Write and review comprehensive software product documentation.
Implement secure software development practices to reduce defect rates and increase resiliency.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree preferred.
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
4+ years of experience with software design and development.
Experience with three or more programming languages, including Python, Java, Go, Rust, or SQL and NoSQL.
Knowledge of computer science principles including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design.
Knowledge of the Linux operating system and ability to develop applications for Linux.
Experience with web front-end technologies, middleware protocols (JMS, JSON, XML), or secure software development practices preferred.
