The People Analytics Full Stack Developer joins the People Analytics team to build and operate data products that support HR decisions regarding recruitment, development, and retention. This role involves end-to-end ownership of analytics products, including modeling data in Snowflake, developing Python web services and APIs, building dashboards for actionable insights, and automating deployments across Linux infrastructure. The developer will utilize agentic AI coding tools like Claude Code to design, build, and test code while ensuring high standards for architecture and security. Key technical requirements include deep SQL expertise, experience with relational databases, containerization, and Python libraries such as NumPy and pandas. The role focuses on the employee lifecycle by creating ETL pipelines, managing data-refresh processes, and maintaining complex reporting estates involving sensitive personal data under strict row-level security and access controls.

What you'll do

  • Build and optimize data models, schemas, and views within Snowflake and relational databases.
  • Develop and maintain Python backends, APIs, and web frontends for internal people tools.
  • Build and operate ETL pipelines including scheduling, incremental refreshes, and data-integrity validation.
  • Automate build processes, containerization, and configuration management across Linux infrastructure.
  • Deliver engineering work using agentic AI coding tools to design, build, test, and ship code.
  • Establish and own metric definitions to ensure consistent reporting across all analytics platforms.
  • Re-engineer existing systems to improve simplicity, standardization, and security while delivering new features.
  • Maintain technical documentation and codebase context for both human colleagues and AI tooling.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining analytics products, reports, and dashboards.
  • Deep SQL and Snowflake experience including schema design, query optimization, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Python experience spanning backend web services, APIs, and data-processing automation.
  • Hands-on Linux experience operating servers via SSH, managing long-lived services, and diagnosing system issues.
  • Container experience covering image build, deployment, and troubleshooting networking, storage, and runtime issues.
  • Daily production experience with agentic AI coding tools like Claude Code to develop and review code.
  • Experience handling sensitive personal data under row-level security and access restrictions.
  • Experience agreeing on metric definitions with business partners (preferred).
  • Experience delivering on shared data platforms with centrally owned pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience working directly with senior business leaders to present findings (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Python web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI (preferred).
  • Experience with NumPy, pandas, and statistical analysis techniques (preferred).
  • Experience building services for AI tooling such as Model Context Protocol servers (preferred).
