What you'll do
- Create and maintain PCB footprints, padstacks, schematic symbols, and mechanical library content using Cadence tools.
- Review component datasheets, package drawings, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate design libraries.
- Manage the verification, release, and documentation processes for all library assets.
- Resolve technical issues related to library components in coordination with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Apply IPC standards, DFM, DFA, and DFT principles to ensure designs are manufacturable and scalable.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts within the library environment.
- Ensure all library content meets quality standards for high-performance computing products.
What we're looking for
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, Altium, or other PCB design tools (preferred).
- Understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and IPC standards (preferred).
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages (preferred).
- Relevant coursework, internships, research projects, or personal projects (preferred).
