What you'll do

Determine layer stackups, component package selections, and routing feasibility for printed circuit boards.
Perform multilayer PCB layout for high-speed digital, analog, RF, and power routing.
Manage high-speed design constraints to ensure signal integrity, thermal performance, and EMI/EMC compliance.
Create all necessary documentation for the fabrication and assembly of PCBs and PCBAs.
Analyze designs for manufacturability and incorporate production feedback to improve yield and reduce costs.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to improve design rules and manufacturing guidelines.
Utilize and maintain PCB design tools while training team members on new software.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 1+ years of professional experience with PCB layout.
3+ years of professional experience with PCB layout in lieu of a degree.
2+ years of experience with PCB layout and routing for modern electronics, RF components, or high pin density components (preferred).
1+ years of experience with ECAD libraries and library configuration management (preferred).
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software such as Xpedition, Allegro, Altium, or KiCad (preferred).
Experience with mixed analog/digital designs, high-speed buses, FPGA, DRAM, CPU designs, and power supplies (preferred).
Proficiency in generating fabrication outputs, DFM/DFA analysis, and experience with MIL-STD, commercial, and IPC standards (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required export authorizations.
