As an Oracle Utilities - Oracle Customer Care & Billing Application Consultant within the Advanced Technology Centers, you will serve as a Custom Application Architect. You will design application architectures for custom software systems, translating business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions. Your daily responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of innovative architectures, facilitating requirement-gathering workshops, and mentoring team members on software design best practices. You must demonstrate expert proficiency in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing, along with advanced skills in Software Design and Solutions. This role specifically addresses the technical challenge of implementing rate case changes and regulatory changes that the company must fulfill by the end of 2026.
Design application architectures for custom software systems to meet business needs.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.
Lead the design and implementation of innovative application architectures.
Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Mentor team members on best practices in software architecture and design.

What we're looking for
Expert proficiency in Oracle Utilities - Oracle Customer Care & Billing is required.
Minimum of 4 years experience in Oracle Utilities - Oracle Customer Care & Billing (Rates) as an application architect, designer, or techno-functional consultant.
Bachelor's degree is required, or 12 years of work experience.
Minimum of 6 years of work experience is required if holding an Associate Degree.
Advanced proficiency in Software Design & Solutions is recommended (preferred).
Oracle Utilities - Oracle Customer Care & Billing specialty experience is recommended (preferred).
