Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Analyst
The Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Analyst provides critical functional support for an Oracle EBS solution managing inventory, supply chain, asset management, financial, and warehouse operations. Working within a multidisciplinary Agile environment, the analyst translates operational requirements into effective system solutions by performing requirement analysis, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation. The role involves supporting modules such as Order Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Financials, Enterprise Asset Management, and Supply Chain Planning to improve data quality and process efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing user stories, conducting fit-gap analysis, and managing testing cycles including system, integration, and regression tests. The position requires expertise in Oracle EBS configuration and troubleshooting within a regulated environment involving cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. This role ensures the continuous availability of systems supporting emergency medical supply readiness and public health response.
Provide functional configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS modules supporting inventory, supply chain, and financial operations.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for system enhancements.
Perform fit-gap analysis to recommend Oracle EBS configurations that improve operational efficiency and data quality.
Develop and execute functional test scenarios for system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 functional issues by collaborating with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure engineers.
Manage data validation, master-data quality, and reconciliation activities between internal systems and third-party logistics providers.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including standard operating procedures, user guides, training materials, and configuration logs.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to respond to critical system incidents within a 15-minute window.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite functional analysis, ERP business analysis, implementation, configuration, or production support.
Demonstrated experience supporting at least one Oracle EBS functional area such as Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Financials, or Supply Chain Planning.
Experience gathering/documenting requirements and developing functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and test scenarios.
Experience with Oracle EBS configuration, functional troubleshooting, and performing system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary Agile delivery environment and communicate effectively with technical staff and government stakeholders.
Must be available for 24/7 on-call rotation with the ability to respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes.
